In this video our home chef will show you how to make Garam Masala at home. Garam Masala is a mixture of aromatic spices commonly used in North Indian, South Indian, Pakistani and other Asian Cuisine.
GARAM MASALA
INGREDIENTS:
Coriander Seeds - 1 Cup
Cloves - Half Cup
Cardamom - 4 No.s
Bay Leaf - 1
Cinnamon - 1 Cup
Poppy Seeds - Half Cup
METHOD:
1. Add 1 cup coriander seeds, half cup cloves, 4 cardamom, 1 bay leaf, 1 cup cinnamon, half cup poppy seeds to a pan and fry them until you heard splutter sounds on medium to high flame. Don't over fry them as it will leads to bitter taste.
2. Let it cool and add it to mixture jar. Grind all the ingredients into coarse powder. Your Garam Masala is ready.
