INGREDIENTS
Boneless chicken - 250 gms (cut into pieces)Oil for deep frying
Yoghurt - less than 1/2 cup (curd)

For Coating:
Egg - 1
Cornflour - 1 1/2 tbsp
Rice flour - 1/2 tbsp

For Tempering:
Cooking oil - 1/2 tbsp
Green chillies - 4-5

PREPARATION
- Marinate chicken pieces in the ingredients for "marinate" for half an hour.
- In a bowl, mix yoghurt, salt to taste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder.
- After marinating the chicken, add egg, salt to taste, cornflour and rice flour to coat the chicken. Add some water if required. Not too much.
- Heat oil for frying. Once the oil is hot, add a few chicken pieces into the oil without crowding the vessel and cook on medium flame. Once the chicken is almost cooked, increase flame and deep fry the chicken pieces till golden brown.
- Heat a cooking vessel, add a tbsp of oil. Add garlic and ginger and sauté for a few seconds. Add curry leaves and green chillies. Sauté for a few sec. Add the deep fried chicken and mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the yoghurt mixture and cook on medium flame, mixing the contents well. Mix the chicken till the yoghurt dries up and absorbs the yoghurt mix.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
