Cut Mirchi Masala Curry
Ingredients:
Oil for deep frying
Gram Flour - 3 Cups
Salt to Taste
Red Chilly Powder - 2 Tsp.
Ajwain Seeds (Carom Seeds) - 2 Tsp.
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 Tsp.
Water
Green Chillies
Curd - 1 Cup
Turmeric -
Mustard Seeds - 1 Tsp.
Jeera (Cumin Seeds) - 1 Tsp.
Curry Leaves
Method:
1. Pour oil in a pan and let it heat for deep frying. Till then add 2 cups gram flour to a bowl. Add salt to taste. Add 2 Tsp. red chilly powder. Add 2 Tsp. carom seeds (Vamu). Add 2 Tsp. ginger garlic paste. Pour some water and make it as a thick batter. Dip each green chilly (Shimla Mirchi) into it and fry it in oil. Your Chilly Bajjis are ready.
2. Cut each Bajji into 3 pieces. Add 1 cup curd in a bowl. Add one cup gram flour to it. Add a pinch of turmeric. Add little bit of water and mix it well.
3. Add 2 Tbsp. of oil into a pan. Add one Tsp. mustard seeds. Add 1 Tsp. cumin seeds (Jeera). Add curry leaves and let it splutter. Add the gram flour mixture to it. Pour some water for the required gravy. Add salt to taste. Boil it for 3 minutes. Add cut pieces of Chilly Bajjis into it and cook it for 1 minute. Take it into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.
