Palak Rice
INGREDIENTS:
Ghee - 3 Tbsp.
Cinnamon - 1 Inch
Cloves - 4 Nos.
Cardamom - 4 Nos.
Bay Leaf - 2
Green Chillies - 4 (Slit lengthwise)
Onions - 1 Small
Spinach - 2 Cups
Grated Carrot - 1/4th Cup
Salt to taste
Water
Basmati Rice - 1 Cup (Washed & Soaked)
METHOD:
1. Add 3 Tbsp. ghee to a pan. Add 1 Inch cinnamon, 4 cloves, 4 cardamoms and 2 bay leaves and saute for a while.
2. Add 4 green chillies and 1 grated onion and saute for 2 min.
3. Add 2 cups spinach, 1/4th cup grated carrot and saute for a while. Add 1 Tsp. salt to it. Add 2 cups water and bring it to boil.
4. Add 1 cup raw rice to it. Boil it until the rice cooked well. Your quick spinach rice ready.
