VEGETABLE FRIED RICE
INGREDIENTS:
Water - 3 cups
Soaked rice - 1/2 cup
Salt - 1 1/2 tsp
Ghee / Butter - 2 tbsp
Cashew nuts - few
Green chilies - 2
Ginger [chopped] - 1 tsp
Garlic [chopped] - 1 tsp
Carrot [chopped] - 2 tbsp
Beans [chopped] - 2 tbsp
Cabbage [chopped] - 1/4 cup
White pepper powder - 1 tsp
METHOD:
1. Boil 3 cups water in a sauce pan. Add half cup soaked rice to it. [soak the rice in water for about 15 minutes before adding it to boiling water]
2. Add 1 tsp salt to it. [or salt to taste]
3. Cook the rice until it gets cooked on medium flame and put it aside.
4. Heat 2 tbsp ghee/butter in a sauce pan. Add few cashew nuts. Add 2 green chilies chopped. Add 1 tsp garlic chopped. Add 1 tsp ginger chopped. Add 2 tbsp carrot chopped. Add 2 tbsp beans chopped. Add 1/4th cup cabbage chopped and saute for a while.
5. Add cooked rice to it. Add 1/2 tsp salt. Adjust it according to your taste. Add 1 tsp white pepper powder. Saute for a while. Your delicious fried rice recipe is ready.
