GARLIC PICKLE | GARLIC CHUTNEY
INGREDIENTS:
Tamarind paste - 1 cup
Salt - 2 tsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Garlic cloves - 1 cup
Mustard powder - 1 tsp
Fenugreek powder - 1 tsp
Red chili powder - 3 tbsp
Oil - 3 tbsp
METHOD:
1. Heat 1 cup tamarind paste into a sauce pan in medium flame for about 2 minutes by adding 1 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp turmeric.
2. Take 1 cup garlic cloves to a bowl. Add 1 tsp mustard powder, 1 tsp fenugreek powder, 3 tbsp red chili powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 3 tbsp oil cooked tamarind paste and 1 tsp salt to it. Mix it well. Your spicy garlic pickle is ready.
TAMARIND PASTE RECIPE:
1. Take 250 gms tamarind and soak it in 1 cup hot water for about 15 minutes. Remove the seeds if any and mash it as much as you can. Your tamarind paste is ready.
