PANEER BUTTER MASALA
INGREDIENTS:
Butter - 2 tbsp
Chopped onions - 1/2 cup
Green chilies - 2
Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
Cashew nut paste - 2 tsp
Paneer (Sliced) - 1 cup
Kasuri (Dried fenugreek leaves) - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
METHOD:
1. Heat 2 tbsp butter in a pan on medium flame. Add 1/2 cup chopped onions, 2 green chilies. Fry them until golden brown. Add one and half tsp ginger garlic paste. Fry it until raw smell goes off. Add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, one and half tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp salt and mix it well.
2. Add 1/2 cup tomato puree. Cook it for 1 minute. Add 2 tsp cashew nut paste, 1/2 cup water, 1 cup Paneer and cook it for 3 minutes. Add 1 tsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) and chopped coriander and 1/2 tsp garam masala. Mix it well. That's it. Your "Paneer butter masala" is ready.
