Check out this mouth watering milk sweet dessert. Basundi is a special milk pudding made by sweetened and thickened milk with chopped nuts, flavored with cardamom powder.
BASUNDI
INGREDIENTS:
Milk - 1/2 liter
Sugar - 1/4 cup
Cardamom - 1 crushed
Cashew nuts - few
Almonds - few
METHOD:
1. Boil 1/2 liter milk in a pan for about 10 minutes in a medium flame. Stir continuously. After 10 minutes bring the flame to simmer.
2. Add 1/4 cup sugar and boil the milk another 5 minutes while stirring continuously.
3. Switch off the flame and add 1 crushed cardamom. Add few crushed cashew nuts. Add few crushed almonds. Mix it well. That's it your special milk pudding is ready..!
Note: Full cream milk is suggested for this recipe to make it more tastier.
