ALMOND COCONUT SMOOTHIE
INGREDIENTS:
Cornflakes - 1/4 cup
Full cream milk - 1/2 cup
Blanched almonds - 4 to 6
Chocolate syrup - 1/2 tsp
Vanilla ice cream - 2 scoops
Fresh coconut slices - 2 tbsp
Ice cubes - 5
METHOD:
1. Add 1/4 cup cornflakes, 1/2 cup full fat milk, 4 blanched almonds, 1/2 tsp chocolate syrup, 2 scoops, vanilla ice cream, 2 tbsp fresh coconut slices and 5 ice cubes into a blender.
2. Blend it for one to two minutes. Your delicious healthy "Almond coconut milkshake" is ready to serve.
Q: How to blanch "almonds"?
A: Add raw almonds to boiling water. Let's boil them until 60 seconds. Don't boil them more than one minute as it may cause the almonds become more smooth. Let them separate by using strainer and add them to cold water. That's it.
