CAULIFLOWER 65 / GOBI 65 RECIPE
INGREDIENTS:
Cauliflower [chopped] - 3 cups
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tbsp
Red chili powder - 2 tbsp
Green chili sauce - 1 tbsp
Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Ginger paste - 1 tbsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Red food color - 1 pinch [optional]
Oil - for deep frying
Tomato sauce - 1/2 tbsp
Corn powder - 3 tbsp
Green chilies - few
Curry leaves - few
Cashew nuts - few
METHOD:
1. Take 3 cups cauliflower [chopped]. Add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tbsp salt, 2 tbsp red chili powder, 1 tbsp green chili sauce, 1 tbsp garlic paste, 1 tbsp ginger paste, 1 tsp garam masala powder, a pinch of red food color [optional] and mix them well. Let's marinate it until deep fry.
2. Heat oil for deep fry in a saucepan on high flame.
3. Meanwhile add 1/2 tbsp tomato sauce, 3 tbsp corn flour to cauliflower pieces.
NOTE: Please add tomato sauce just before you deep fry it. otherwise, the cauliflower pieces turned black after frying. Please add cornflour just before you deep fry it. Otherwise, the pieces are too crunchy to eat after frying. Please make sure the oil is at sufficient heat for deep fry. Otherwise, the coating gets loose from cauliflower pieces while frying.
4. Deep fry the pieces for about 5 minutes on medium flame.
5. For garnish, fry some cashew nuts, few curry leaves, and few green chilies.
